On November 10, the 5th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Expo) closed, again realizing "zero infringement" and "zero complaint" of intellectual property rights, creating a good exhibition environment for global exhibitors.

 

 

 

"The Expo has been held for five times. In the past five years, the protection of intellectual property rights has become stronger and stronger, and more and more intellectual property products have been launched globally at the Expo. The protection of intellectual property rights is not only a strong backing for exhibitors to put 'global debut' on the Expo, but also an accelerator for more 'debut debut'." At this Expo, the enterprise business exhibition not only attracted many "repeat visitors", but also became the first launch platform for many exhibits. Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, said that 284 of the world's top 500 enterprises and leading enterprises in the industry participated in the business exhibition, with a turnover rate of nearly 90%, higher than the previous level. The consumer goods exhibition area released many debut exhibits and actively advocated a green and sustainable lifestyle. The technical equipment exhibition area focuses on "double carbon", integrated circuits, artificial intelligence and other hot areas, and focuses on displaying cutting-edge technologies and high-end equipment. In the Innovation Incubation Zone, 153 small and micro technology-based enterprises concentrated on displaying innovative products, and the selection activity attracted a large number of netizens' attention.

 

 

 

Cultural exchanges are rich and colorful. Intangible cultural heritage projects are competing to appear, and time-honored brands have their own exhibition features... The cultural exchange activities at this Expo have achieved "quality and quantity". According to Sun Chenghai, the total exhibition area of people to people and cultural exchange activities in this Expo has increased to 32000 square meters, the largest ever. The number of exhibitors in this exhibition area has increased by 16% compared with the previous one. There are 239 intangible cultural heritage projects, 275 time-honored brands, and 10 national demonstration pedestrian streets to display their special contents. A total of 54 high-level cultural public welfare performances were presented by several art performance groups, including 4 world-class intangible cultural heritage projects and 9 national intangible cultural heritage projects.

In order to do a good job in the protection of intellectual property rights in the Expo, on July 28, the Shanghai Joint Conference Office of Intellectual Property Rights issued the Hundred Day Action Plan for Intellectual Property Protection of the Fifth China International Import Expo, focusing on introducing innovative measures such as deepening mechanism reform, strengthening cooperation, innovating technology, improving the diversified dispute resolution mechanism, and promoting the organic integration of publicity and volunteer team building, From August 1 to November 10, the law enforcement personnel organized and carried out the Hundred Day Action for Intellectual Property Protection of the Expo.

 

 

 

On October 25, Shanghai Intellectual Property Office printed and distributed the Intellectual Property Service Guarantee Scheme of the Fifth China International Import Expo to carry out more accurate, efficient and convenient intellectual property service guarantee before, during and after the exhibition, and to create a first-class business environment.

 

 

 

According to the person in charge of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office, "during the exhibition, we have sent 56 people to the site, including 42 people to the consultation site and 12 people to conduct inspections; we have inspected 600 exhibits, exhibition boards and promotional materials; we have received 15 intellectual property consultations, and once again achieved" zero complaints "of intellectual property infringement, creating a good intellectual property protection environment for exhibitors and consumers."
